Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS)
What is ITAS?
Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) is an academic support program provided by the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST). The purpose of this scheme is to provide tutorial assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying in any undergraduate program or course at Macquarie University.
Eligibility
ITAS tutorial assistance is available to all Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander undergraduate students at Macquarie University. It is not means tested or subject to any form of prior assessment. However confirmation of Aboriginality may be required. Subject to conditions, ITAS is also available to postgraduate students.
ITAS tutorial assistance is available either one-on-one or may be arranged for groups of students wishing to study together (hours of availability are limited).
