Travel
Your travel to Sydney is funded by ABSTUDY and processed through Warawara - Department of Indigenous Studies.
As a student of Macquarie University's identified programs, you are eligible to travel to Sydney by the following methods:
- Plane Travel (only for those who have more than 18hrs land travel time)
- Land Travel
- There is no allocation for Private travel under the guidelines of IESIP.
Warawara has outlined a formula for allocating specific methods of travel that take into account the IESIP guidelines.
When making travel arrangements, you should adhere to the following travel regulations established by Warawara.
- Make travel arrangements as set out by Warawara.
- Send or fax the Warawara travel fax form to inform the Warawara administrative staff of your travel arrangements. (This is to ensure that accommodation arrangements can also be determined.
Accommodation
While you are in Sydney for your On Campus Schools, you will stay at either Dunmore Lang College or Robert Menzies College.
Your choice of accommodation provider is made at the beginning of each year and once selected WILL NOT change. The colleges provide all meals, (breakfast, lunch and evening meals). ( See Jan about who provides meals on Saturdays)
Please note: As residents of the Colleges you are obliged to comply with the rules and regulations of Dunmore Lang and Robert Menzies Colleges.
